THIS SUNDAY: Matthew 7:13-23 Click for the full passage.
In this section of the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus gives the following three warnings:
False Ways
False Prophets
False Faith
Our focus last week was on the narrow gate, Jesus Christ. This week will we look at the easy way and the hard way. We will also discuss the two crowds, the many and the few.
Additional Passages to Read
Revelation 7:9-17
2 Timothy 3:10-17
Consider (Meditate) on the following as your read and pray:
Why would God's way be hard and narrow? Wouldn't he want his path to be easy?
Why would there be many that follow the way that leads to destruction?
Does the Bible teach that the kingdom of God will be filled with many or few?
