THIS SUNDAY: Matthew 5:6-7
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.
After taking a break from the Sermon on the Mount the past couple of weeks, we will jump back into the Beatitudes this coming Lord's Day.
Questions to consider:
What is righteousness?
Who is righteous?
What is mercy?
What does it look like to be merciful?
Consider (Meditate) on the following:
Philippians 3:2-11
What is Paul wanting the Romans to understand about righteousness?
Matthew 18:21-34
Notice the mercy of the king.
Notice how the king expected the servant to react to his mercy.
