THIS SUNDAY'S TEXT: Matthew 5:4-5
As you seek the Lord this week in private worship, prepare your hearts and minds for Sunday by prayerfully reading this Sunday's text.
Lord willing, we will look at the next two beatitudes:

Notice his attitude (mourning and sorrow).
Notice his mourning turns to joy (comfort).
Psalm 37: 1-11, David shows the character of meekness. Consider, meditate, and pray through the following imperative verbs (commands) that he lists in the eleven verses:
Fret not yourself because of evildoers, Trust in the Lord and do good, Commit your way to the Lord, Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him, refrain from anger and forsake wrath...
