THIS SUNDAY- Hebrews 12:25-29
We were introduced to the final warning of Hebrews, "See that you do not refuse him who is speaking." (Hb 12:25a). This coming Lord's day we will look at the remaining verse that follows.
CONSIDER/MEDITATE
Notice what will happen to the "things that have been made" by the voice of him who is speaking... Is Mount Sinai or Mount Zion included in the above?
What hope does this give us when we are facing difficulties, trials, and suffering in this world?
Notice in verse 28 the right response to receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken and that will remain forever.
What/Who determines what is acceptable worship? Perhaps even ask yourself what worship is.
Therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire. - Hebrews 12:28-29
